If were you I would totally make your way to Horseshoe Bay in Vancouver by the ferry docks to visit this sweet little 'good karma organic cafe.' It's entirely wonderful and has the most delicious Buddha smoothie which I enjoyed for breakfast whilst waiting for the windy ferry to visit my family on the Island this weekend. We planned a get together to scatter some of my fathers ashes on the ocean in Qualicum Beach (my father passed away five years ago but we have been saving them for moments when we miss him unbearably (which is always) and also for the season I embark on a pilgrimage to Ireland where he spent some of the happiest days of his life with my mother in a little cottage in Schull.)
The weekend was incredibly soulful and uplifting and included a magnificent dinner with my family, sharing this film with my Mom in the evening while we ate chocolate and sipped tea, and not surprisingly several precious little wonders of miracles popping up here and there to which I say 'thank you Universe' for hearing my prayers:)
As soon as I returned home my friends Delia and Wynia (and Rhuben of course) arrived from Seattle to spend a few days with me and I am radiating the joy of all that girl time spent together ~ concocting Cuban mojito's for a gathering, eating lots of food, laughing and chatting and meandering about town.
Oh! and whilst thrifting, we found the most aaaaaaahmazing vintage bright red/tangerine crock pot. Completely suits my kitchen and now all I need is some brilliant recipes. Anyone have any to share with me?
As well, I am pleased as plums to announce I have a new mini course in the form of daily mails for one whole month entitled "My sweet Muse.'
'Fireflies' is such a popular feature in my e course line up (this month there were almost 200 people signed up for which I am deeply happy and grateful) so I thought I would create a course which brings us on a pilgrimage to awaken our sense and awareness of beauty by delving into journaling and poetry as well as photography to ignite creativity.
I was dearly inspired by John O'Donohue for this course and you will find an immense nod to Celtic spirituality ribboning throughout.
PlEASE visit here to register for the first session of 'My Sweet Muse' which begins July 01.
well lovelies! sending a platter of creampuffs your way!
