musings and tea

This morning I completed my workshop outline/offering (My Sweet Muse) for a very very special retreat coming next Summer compliments of the visionary Erin Faith Allen that I am so honored to be teaching at and I cannot bear the WAIT to share it with you!  Soon, very soon this retreat will be announced and let me exalt to one and all, this is so very worth saving your pennies for. M a g i c is a promise with golden thunderbolts of creative offerings abounding. That is all.

To celebrate, I skipped out to this most stunning place I go for long foresty walks communing with the natural life force underlying all things. Autumnal winds were exhilarating sending a crazy palette of leaves aswirling and twirling all about in this wild/wise foolishness of a dance.  I couldn't help but sing a few prayers to myself and ask the trees 'what they think' to ignite a few revelations and then finally topped off all this woodsy reverence by throwing my arms up in the air triumphantly.  

Then I sailed home, made a pot of Egyptian Licorice tea ignoring all the packing I am supposed to be doing because I firmly believe there are times my destiny is simply to sit down.
