unless you leave room for serendipity, how can the divine enter? – joseph campbell
This morning the light shifts from silvered violet to spirals of palest rose seaglass and I am a lush hallelujah of happiness to finally be sharing a most supreme offering. 'Serendipity' retreat, a playful celebration of spirit and the sea.
Serendipity is by far my most favorite word. ~ Ser~en~dip~ity literally tango's off the tonge in a shimmering tintinnabulation of joy and means a happy accident or a most pleasant surprise while not intentionally searching for it.
The word is said to be one of the ten English words hardest to translate which makes perfect sense to me as all things serendipitous have a wondrous element of magic and mystery seeded within.
And this retreat is truly going to be magic.
beautiful people do not just happen
I deeply believe Jen and Michelle traveled through time and space to find one another to birth these creative gusts which will move through the world and uplift the consciousness of joy and ~ I can testify that being in the presence of their combined aura is a direct portal to love.
Jen and Michelle believe with all their heart that the discovery of the right moment, friendships, beloveds, creations will be serendipitous, somewhere most surprisingly and unexpectedly around the corner ~ and to hold out for that.
They know that once you do a couple of things that you love with kindred friends you love..well, anything is possible. Anything at all.
Everything flows, singing.
And I am beyond honored and humbled to call these two beauties close soul friends for life.
I am also completely honored and jazzed to be a guide in one of the very many exquisite courses offered at Serendipity with my partner in creative magic, Jen Gray, entitled 'Practical Magic.' Jen and I will be dabbling by the sea with sacred ceremony, personal altars and gorgeous Persian blue cyanotype sun printing.
And you can read all about the magic that awaits you right here.
see you there sugarbeets!
xo
love, always
Maddie
